The laptop cases are made from fish skin and cow leather. The fish skin is an extraordinary, beautiful leather from Iceland, which is similar in quality to snake skin. Every laptop case is unique, as each one is sewn together based on the particular shapes and sizes of the fish skin in question.
Three different varieties of fish skin are used in the design.
- Wolf fish leather or ocean leopard with natural array of dark dots
- Salmon with a fine repeated pattern of scales
- Perch leather with rough big scales
The fish skin has a beautiful, distinctive and delicate texture. It is strong and often used
for bags and shoes. The processing method of fish-skin involves tanning the skin, using modern technologies, to
create a perfect texture and finish.
The fish leather is based on processing
marine biowaste. No animals are therefore caught specifically for the leather. Geothermal hot water is used in processing the fish leather, which is a completely renewable recourse. This product is
therefore environmentally friendly. No endangered species are used in the production.
There is no need to protect the cases with a weather resistant spray. To remove dirt from the leather, simply wipe the case with a damp, clean cloth.
